We really enjoyed
it. Very nice house. We will return another
time. Roman Hofmann Germany 2011/05
We did have a great
vacation. The house worked well.

We had a great time.
We tried one of the other restaurants and
were extremely impressed with the
quality of the food and the price. Hanna
was extremely helpful and had no problems
there.
We had an issue with the police on Thursday
and Hanna was available to help us out –
appreciate that.
Also, the cottage itself was fine with no
problems, easy access to Prague.
We really enjoyed it and would recommend it
to our friends. Jim Chaplin

We all had a great time and the cottages
were both lovely and perfect in every way.
We would all love to stay there again when
we visit in the future. Also Dan was
very friendly, nice and helpful. Thank you
from us all. Kerry Irvine

We have just about completed our holiday in
Europe and we would have to say that of all
the places we stayed in Europe your
accommodation would have to rate as the
best.
It was great thank you, I can highly
recommend the meals at the local
pub/restaurant, their
cheese on toast was superb and they were
extremely helpful in finding the house
and your agent who was also very helpful.
Thanks for a great stay. Lyn Newman

We had a great time and
enjoyed Prague, house was very comfortable
and it was lovely to
be in the countryside!
Louise Friend Kent 2010/08 We would like
to say a Big Thank you for the wonderful
stay we had at the Conifer cottage,
must say your cottage is really impressive
and catered to our every need.
All the children had a ball and made a lot
of noise, we do hope we did not disturb
anyone with our
late night singing and banter. Prague is a
very impressive place and we thoroughly
enjoyed ourselves,
we will definitely recommend your cottage to
our friends.
Norman Cortez Surrey 2010/08
Our Wedding location had to be
perfect yet affordable.
Eventually we chose a village in
the countryside
just outside Prague. We invited
both our families to stay with
us for a week and we
accommodated all
20 of them in two holiday rental
cottages - Conifer Cottage and
Cherry Tree Cottage.
These cottages are affordable
and comfortable - well equipped,
clean and attractive with plenty
of room
for everyone. Getting in and out
of Prague is pretty easy too
-the bus stop is round the
corner from the
cottages and it takes about
15-20 minutes to get into the
city.
With a few long distance runners
and active types in our
families, we were able to make
the most of the
countryside - forests, cycle
paths, riverside runs.
There was even an integral but
separate private apartment for
bride and groom. The countryside
village location,
the enticing rustic
pub/restaurants and the easy
access to Prague gave us
everything we had dreamt of.
The Prague Church we chose (St
Josefs) for our Wedding was
breathtakingly beautiful and the
English speaking
pastor was helpful and
welcoming. They made
things very easy for us - advice
on paperwork, advice on the
ceremony and a run through two
days before the big day.
The day after the wedding both
friends and family gathered at
the cottages for a BBQ and a bit
of a sing-a-long
(you'll have to bring your own
guitars/singers for this). Being
close to a few supermarkets made
it easy to cater
for a big group...plus we had
the pub across the road on
standby just in case.
The IdyllicPrague team looked
after us wonderfully, even down
to helping with the translation
of menus, liaising
with restaurant staff, booking
taxis to/from the airport.
We would recommend this to
anyone!
Ed Morgan Belfast 2010/08
We have just
got back having had an amazing experience in
Prague made even better with your
fantastic accommodation. The house was
beautiful and the service was also excellent
especially Dan.
As for the Medieval Dinner, we went to a
fantastic place called the Medieval Tavern
on Celetna 17,
Prague 1 which was very entertaining and I
would fully recommend it.
I will fully recommend your cottage to all
who would like to holiday in Prague.

We just
returned from our
wonderful short trip to

a great week in the cottage. It is very well
equipped. Hana is very friendly and helpful.
The technician was very responsive when we
had a problem with the electric gate.
Access to Prague by car is very fast and on
the recommendations of Hana we were able to
park
easily in the periphery and finish with the
subway.
The brakes on a bicycle needed slight
adjustment. {IdyllicPrague - any
concerns, particularly safety

Alain Colinet France 2010/07 We had
wonderful holidays. The problem with the hot
water was solved right after we had talked
about it.
But all these were minor problems, thanks to
your calls everything was solved.
We enjoyed every day, the restaurants you
recommended were excellent, the transfer to
Prague with bus and
metro was very good and the possibility to
use the internet in Cherry Tree Lodge was
very helpful.
We will gladly write in your guest book and
send some photos. Carola Forst Germany

We had a great time in the Czech Republic
and at Idyllic Prague. The homes made a
great starting point
for many trips within the country and the
access to Prague via the metro/tram was very
easy.
The contact with Hana and the restaurant was
very convenient.
I have not yet looked at my pictures. When I
do, I will send you any that may be of
interest to you.
Thank you for the opportunity to stay in
your guest home. It was wonderful. Tim and

As you know the bike rides
are great, we had a wonderful time exploring and
would strongly
recommend anyone who rents the cottage to also
rent the bikes, which were in good condition
and easy to use. Your friend Dan who met us was
extremely welcoming, helpful and informative.
{IdyllicPrague.com For details of Dan Greeting

open air
swimming pool (not a natural lake but a man
made pool) which had changing rooms, restaurant
and bar.
That was fabulous in the hot weather and I would
highly recommend it to future guests.
{IdyllicPrague.com Click

The house was lovely and I
loved the garden and kitchen. It had everything
we needed,
but unfortunately it was very hot weather and
there was no ac or enough fans.
The boys were originally sleeping in the
upstairs bedrooms but it turned out to
be too hot so they slept downstairs.
{IdyllicPrague.com Please inform us
of any problem. We would be pleased to
provide more fans. Also we can
increase the ventilation in the roof space which
helps to cool the Cottage.}
The restaurant across the
road {click
here} had just re-opened under new
ownership and
although we did not eat there, the family were
very friendly and the beer and
soft drinks
were extremely cheap.
The seafood restaurant that
was in your list was expensive, not great
food
and pretty unfriendly, so you might want to
re-visit that recommendation.
Or maybe we were just unlucky that day.

Great place, no one spoke a word of English
but everyone tried very hard and they
found an English menu for us. Lots of fun
and good food. Tables outside front and
back and a nice cosy inside- we loved it.
Great food, great coffee. Good service and
good value. We went back at least three
times.
We had take away pizzas
from the pizza place and the boys liked
them.

That’s about it. Having had
another holiday (in Italy ) since Prague, I’m
afraid I am
a bit vague on details, but I hope it helps.
Overall we had a really good time,
I would not hesitate to go back – although
perhaps not in such hot weather.
Anne Brabazon Dubai 2010/07
Thank you so much for the rental. It was really nice
and Hana was really helpful and friendly.
Karen Albrecht Germany 2010/08
We had a nice break in Prague and were very
satisfied with your property. Hana was also
very friendly and helpful. If there is one
thing which could be improved, it's the cooking
ware,
a new pan and some sharp knives would do the job.
We would certainly come again.
{IdyllicPrague - any requests like this please let
us know early in your holiday so that we can
respond before you leave!}
Achim Wagner Switzerland 2010/06 We went to Prague during December to visit the
Christmas markets & experience the atmosphere.
We were not disappointed as the Markets and the
entertainment at weekends with children
singing & dancers on the open air ice rink was
wonderful to watch. We hired a car although
we found that it was easier to go into Prague Centre
by local bus from Cerny Vul to Dejvicka
and then either walk or take the metro. We also
drove to Karlovy Vary which is such a pretty
spa town & also Karlstejn Castle. We stayed in
Conifer Cottage which was very comfortable,
warm and well equipped and is an excellent base for
visiting both Prague and the Czech Republic.
Would have no hesitation in recommending the
accommodation to family and friends and hope
to return ourselves. We would like to take this
opportunity to thank you and your staff in the
Czech Republic for a very well organised holiday

Here it is a year and a half later and I
cannot stop raving about our entire Praha experience!
In fact I have been putting off throwing out my Prague calendar
that we had received from you.
The pictures bring me back to such great memories. Unfortunately
it is a 2007 calendar and I
will have to part with it eventually. Is there any way that I
can get a 2009 version?
Thank you again for being a part of our trip of a lifetime.
Dan and Tracy Friedman USA 2007/05 Just
wanted to thank you for your help with our holiday. It was a
fantastic time, everything was
absolutely perfect and we all enjoyed it lots! I'll definitely
recommend Idyllic Prague to anyone
going to Czech Republic.
Nikolay Kukushkin Oxford University Group UK 2009/11
Thanks, yes we had a lovely time. The house was great, I would
recommend it to anyone.
The links into town are very good (bus/taxi). I would not drive into
the city centre as there is no need!
We will would use this property again.

I would just like to say a massive thank you, for a great welcome,
great weekend had by all.
The house was wonderful, the greeting at the airport, the
hospitality at the "local" was great,
the breakfasts got bigger & better each day!! I must say, Jim
my partner said we must go back,
just the two of us, for a weekend maybe. So I'll be in touch again.
Until then. Thanks for everything.
Regards, take care

We all had a great time in Prague. The houses felt like home!
Your team in Prague did a very good job.
The weather was fine! Prague at its best. The bar made
breakfast for us.
Barbara Koehler. Germany 2010/04
We had a great time, thank you very much!
The cottages were lovely with enough space to accommodate all 15 of
us comfortably and the
helpful information you provided us with for taxis and local
amenities was greatly appreciated.
Your colleague, who met us at the airport was very attentive and
shared lots of interesting stories
about Prague with us. He was a great and very understanding when we
asked for a slightly later check out.
Everything was organised to perfection and we felt very at home
throughout our stay.
Kind Regards,
Elizabeth Ossipian London 2009/08
We had a lovely holiday, Prague is a lovely city with some
splendid architecture.
It really helped being met at the airport. The driver (Dan) was
extremely helpful and couldn't do
enough to accommodate us. He made us all feel very welcome and
deserves a special mention.
They all appeared to genuinely care that things were ok. We
enjoyed taking a few bike rides in the area.
There was plenty of space for us and it was a nice location. It
was an easy 10 minute walk to the bus stop
to get in and out of Prague. The house was warm and
comfortable. It was nice to have the welcome pack,
particularly milk etc so we could have a cuppa when we arrived,
a nice touch.
Fiona Buchanan Somerset 2009/10
Just to thank you for making our holiday in Prague so good. The
accommodation was clean and tidy
and our welcome pack an added bonus! Unfortunately as you had warned
us, the internet wasn't working
{IdyllicPrague.com - an electrical storm damaged the internet
connections in the area - now repaired}
I loved the accommodation and have already recommended you to two of
my friends - and I only got
back this morning. My brother and my sisters loved it too. it was a
good base to explore Prague and
we were very impressed with the transport system and the cooking
across the road! {click

Many thanks for your help in helping to make this holiday a fun and
relaxing holiday for my family members.
Do you do winter lets - for one? My very best wishes,

Thanks the holiday was good, just a small point:- better
information about the transport from
Cerny Vul to Prague for disabled people {IdyllicPrague - click on
www.DPP.cz/Barrier-Free-Travel/buses/
Also a special printed pack of information is available - please
ask.}
Otherwise things were very good, the
cottage suite was good for the disabled. One last thing remember
that disabled people need a remote to get in and out of the gate.
{IdyllicPrague - remote controls should
be provided. If you don't have a remote, please ask!

But all in all Cherry Garden Suite is very good for disabled people.

We had a
fantastic time thank you, You have a lovely place & all enjoyed and

them out. Dan was waiting for us on arrival and was very
helpful in every way. Any way many thanks

We are home after a really relaxing holiday. We enjoyed
the accommodation, walks and excellent food

made our holiday enjoyable.

Hi, sorry I don't have any photos but I couldn't have asked for more
help from the Idyllic Prague team,
they were fantastic! It was brilliant to have the local information and
directions, and especially to have
a contact number; we rang late one evening for help talking to a taxi
driver and they were really helpful.
The cottage was lovely and the pick-up from the airport was so good as
our flight was delayed for 4 hours
and the gentleman waited for us! I would definitely stay there again.
Danielle Sutherland Newcastle 2008/10
It was fabulous and we are really grateful for the beautiful experience
you offered.
Adrienne & Jim Moore Louisiana USA 2008/06 The cottage is lovely
and had everything that we needed. It was very clean and in good shape.
The garden is beautiful this time of year, by the way. The irises were
in bloom. Lucie, who greeted us
and showed us the Cottage, is a peach. One thing: I know this is
minor, but the TV remote control
needs new batteries.
{IdyllicPrague - any maintenance request please email or telephone, we
can usually fix it in a few hours.}
Thanks for letting us use your charming place.
Vicki Peters USA 2009/05 We had a wonderful time and your cottage was
great! Thanks, Laura Schweitzer USA 2009/05 Finally back in NZ today! We enjoyed
our stay at the lodge and I would stay again.
The lady that greeted us was very helpful. It was
really useful to have on-site internet
access and computers to answer emails and to make further holiday
arrangements on-line.
This was the only villa style accommodation we used that offered this.
Most people will take the bus from Cerny Vul to Praha at some stage so
an explanation of
how the buses/metro tickets work {IdyllicPrague click

where to catch the bus returning to Cerny Vul from Praha would be
helpful. {click

good time in the Cherry Tree Cottage, thank you very much for the
unforgettable holidays! Thanks a
lot again!
On behalf of our group I would like to show you and all your team

The holiday was terrific! The weather was really good too!
We thoroughly enjoyed
a walking tour of Prague, Karlstejn Castle, Petrin Hill (we walked all
the way from
the Old Town to the top!), the zoo and many other sights. We crossed
Charles Bridge
every day as Andrew wanted to see the caricaturists at work!
Thank you so much indeed - you have put just so much work into the
house, the website etc.
We'll be back! All the best Diane, Ian, Peter
and Andrew Aberdeen 2008/04
Thank you for an amazing stay in Prague. The cottage was lovely and we all
had
a fantastic time and thanks again for an excellent level of customer care both
through
the booking process and when we were in Prague. We all think Lucie
and Dan are
fantastic (I think one of my friends had a bit of a crush of a crush on
Dan!!)
I'd definitely recommend you and the house to all my friends.
Emma Keele London 2008/03
We had a wonderful time in the cottage.
Everything went very smoothly, Dan met us at the
airport and collected us with plenty of time to book-in for the return
flight.
The people the local pub were fantastic, so friendly and attentive and the
food and beer were excellent.
Prague was easy to visit by public transport and truly is a beautiful city,
but unfortunately it has
become a bit of a rip-off, like all major cities.
{IdyllicPrague.com Thankfully the exchange rate is improving!}
But that did not spoil the holiday and I am sure we will come again, some
time in the future.
One comment to pass on to your guests: The
pub at the Mill Pond is currently shut, but if you walk
or cycle on for a half or mile or so, there are two delightful pubs, that
both do excellent food.
Best Regards,
Terry White, Portsmouth 2009/05
Thank you so much for the most pleasant holiday we spent in your lovely
Idyllic Prague,
in Cherry Tree Cottage. We were and are really grateful and happy for your kind
attitude
and lovely atmosphere which you created since the first day we arrived by plane
to Prague airport.
You and your local staff members were exactly as you described in your
www-pages.
I and my wife spent such one of our best holidays in Idyllic Prague. The
atmosphere in
the closest restaurant/pub and local Czechs were really friendly, local food and
beer was tasty
and it was amazing easy to move although I use my wheelchair every day.
What you could have done to have made our holiday even better? Well, Dan
and the local
brochure pointed to use the certain taxi phone number. {IdyllicPrague - click
here}
Once we took a different taxi from a taxi bar nearby Charles Bridge and had to
pay some extra.
So it’s better to use reliably phone numbers and taxi, as recommended by
IdyllicPrague.com
which we did several times during our holiday. It would be helpful to have
more maps etc
for nearest restaurants etc {IdyllicPrague.com click
here}
We were and are really grateful for Ben and his staff and who knows someday,
somehow
we are going to visit the Idyllic Prague, the Cherry Tree Cottage again.

What can I say about our 2nd IdyllicPrague holiday in Prague? All
things was wonderful, like always.
Magnificent city, nice and comfortable accommodation, excellent beer. Tudor
Dumitras Bucharest 2009/06
We had a lovely time despite rather wintry weather. We were so impressed with
your little company. The website was extremely helpful and we negotiated public
transport in and out of the city with relative ease. The local pub was
brilliant,
friendly and patient with three children who could never make up their minds!!
We enjoyed one sunny bike ride (if chilly) along the cycle path to the river.
Suggestions - a few more pillow cases. {IdyllicPrague - should be
plenty - any problem
like that please always ask.} A timetable showing both buses both in and out
of Prague. {IdyllicPrague - click
here} A map showing where to catch the bus back
would be helpful as it is not opposite where you alight. {IdyllicPrague

These are all very minor things. Thanks again . We will
definitely be recommending
you to our friends.
Alison Base Oxfordshire 2008/10
We had a lovely holiday. Points to note:
Ideal location
Easy public transport
Local pub good food and drinks (very cheap!)
Weather was fantastic
Dan was extremely helpful, we also booked him for the return
to the airport
Enjoyed using the bikes
Perhaps you could remind guests that there is nowhere to get access
to cash unless you go
into Prague. We tried at the post office in the next village -
Horomerice
- but this was not possible.

It was a great holiday, and we wish we could have
stayed for longer - thanks for asking.
We enjoyed our stay in Conifer Cottage. The bedrooms were all nice, clean
and spacious,
our kids found loads of space in the property to be adventurous and to play
around in.
The bath with the Jacuzzi was a treat – even though the next one had to wait
for water
to heat up again after the first one was done, it was well worth it.
{IdyllicPrague.com a high capacity ecological condensing gas boiler has
now been installed.}
The lawns were brilliant as well, nicely kept. We even managed to park two
cars easily, which
was very helpful. Connectivity to Prague was also brilliant. Nisheeth
Srivastava London 2008/08
We most certainly enjoyed our stay at Cherry Tree Cottage. The house was
comfortable
and magnificently appointed. Also the location worked out very well for us .
As you know we had a car and therefore could venture far and wide - which we
did.
However I confess to us getting lost on a few occasions, but in a sense this
simply
added to the adventure of it all. Wisely I feel, we did not take the car into
the old part
of Prague but chose the easier method of travelling by taxi.
The bottom line is - we were so pleased we discovered Cherry Tree Cottage, it
represented
excellent value and provided us the opportunity of getting a good feel of Czech.
I have to add that the cost of goods in Czech is about half that of France. So,
me being
a Scott, this added to the appeal. We would have no hesitation in thoroughly
recommending
Cherry Tree to any fellow Australians who may be contemplating a visit to The
Czech Republic.
Thank you for making it all possible. Regards, Ian and Margery Johnston.

"The
short version is that we had a fantastic time,
we have been raving about the trip to all our friends
and telling them that without Dan and Lucy and the
website you set up, our trip would not have been
anywhere close to what it was. You have a great
house and an even better staff. We will send notes,
pictures some comments and some helpful hints

in and get the pictures onto the computer.
Take care, and thanks again for a wonderful trip."

"Have had a great holiday in Prague!!
Its such
a beautiful place to visit,
we could
wonder round
the streets all day
long! Our holiday was made
even more perfect
by the brilliant care from the
IdyllicPrague team.
On arrival we were met from
the airport and driven to our lovely
Cottage
(included in cost!!) and were then
greeted by
another member of the
team and shown around. We regularly ate
over at the pub and enjoyed
every minute of it, we
would get a great meal
with desert and drinks for half the
price we would
in England!! Not only that
but the presentation of the food was amazing,
something similar to a top restaurant!!
We ordered breakfast a number of times from the pub which was brought
over to us, precisely the time we asked for. Not only was the breakfast
brought over for us, but it was all laid out and tidied away for us when
finished as well.
An amazing choice for a holiday, with exceptional service from Idyllic
Prague.
Thanks again for the use of your lovely house in this beautiful country.
Many thanks for a super holiday." Craig Trimming Hampshire England

"Would like to thank you for the rental of your Cottage your staff were
helpful
and efficient. The facilities and information were great and I would
recommend
to further guests to use the public transport system which is reliable
and cheap.
Lovely beer over the road along with a pool table in the games room made
it a
frequent haunt.
Without doubt the best
meal (Superb T bone best
ever tasted
anywhere in world !)
although slightly dearer and also fantastic setting
in the
woods is the
KOLIBA
which is about 20 mins by bike down cycle
track to
left as
you leave cottage.
Also Buffalo Bills in Prague 1 worth visiting."

"As you predicted, we had a wonderful time. Whilst the buildings
in Prague may
be beautiful, the apartment blocks did not seem to be and we were so
glad to be
staying in your delightful cottage. The bus always arrived very
punctually and
was a pleasurable ride. We had a few frustrations over buying
replacement
24 hour tickets! Enquired of the bus company, the Metro counter
and the tourist
information office. Eventually found the ticket machines (how come
the Metro
did not know!) but then had to overcome the problem of having 4 lots
of 150K in change.
Having solved all the issues we got our tickets and then learnt it
was cheaper to buy
separate tickets for the journeys we wanted!
{IdyllicPrague - for details and photos of metro ticket purchases

here and

After three days of visiting buildings, we opted for the
countryside. Walked for miles
along the cycle path firstly to Suchdol and on another occasion to
the rope ferry.
We initially dismissed the pub opposite Conifer Cottage and instead
frequented the
one near the bus stop. Only towards the end of the week did we
discover the
splendid food at the first. The wine from the barrel in Unetice
was excellent too
- less than Ł3 per litre.
The three of us went cycling to Untice a few times.
Our plan was to walk to the rope ferry and pick up a taxi the
other side of the river.
The cycle path from the ferry was quite strenuous (too much for
Gerry) and so we
crossed back over the ferry, walked to the Alexandra Hotel in
Roztoky, had a late
lunch there and got a taxi home. All agreed it was a
wonderful day - preferable
to central Prague!
The pub opposite Conifer Cottage portrayed to us the wrong
image. When we first
saw it, we dismissed it and avoided it for several days. When
we ventured in, we
were so disappointed not to have checked it out previously.
Tony had a 24hr bug
and did not want to eat so rather than leave him out, two of us
went to that pub
with a casserole dish and gesticulated that we wanted two
portions of Strogonoff
and rice to take home. The serving was huge - three of us
had our fill that evening
and there was enough for two more the next day. And not at
the expense of quality
- it tasted superb too! So my advice to others is "don't judge
the pub by the outside"!
The other pub was very much a local and had charm but we did not
taste the fayre
which was obviously very much for the locals.
There really was not any aspect of the holiday which marred our
enjoyment
- and there was plenty that excelled it!
A really great holiday - we all enjoyed every minute of it. Dan
and Lucie were very
helpful and we were so grateful to Lucie for arranging for the
cleaning lady to come
late on Saturday to accommodate our late return flights.
If we had to mention a request it would be clothes pegs for the
washing and a long
handled brush. It is a big kitchen to sweep on your hands and knees
with a hand-brush!
{IdyllicPrague - provided as standard. If anything is
missing, please ask.}
Many many thanks for making the week such a successful holiday
for us all. We will be back!"

Your service is wonderful and we haven't
even been there yet!! We were away over
the Easter weekend but your calendar and letter were there when we got
home
yesterday, so I was planning to email you to thank you very much for the
beautiful
calendar and other information. If your Cottage is as good as your
thoughtful care
and service, we will be more than happy to recommend it widely!!

What a wonderful holiday was had by all in Prague! Many thanks
for all your support
throughout the week. Only today I was telling a friend about
our lovely stay in Prague!
We had a memorable time with highlights being a meal at the
Nebozizek restaurant
on Petrin Hill, a night time cruise on the Jazz boat, cycling to the
Pizza restaurant by
the Vlatava, wandering around the old town and having coffee in the
splendid
Obecní dům
cafe. There is still so much more to do so we hope to be back!
Cathy London 2007/07
The holiday was very good, was relaxing and
cheap. Many thanks John Kadis London 2007/06 We are having
a fantastic holiday !
Amy Tipping Dorset 2007/08 We had a good holiday thank you and the
Cottage was lovely. The IdyllicPrague team
were pleasant and helpful. Could not be improved!
Mary Leach Hereford 2007/09 You have been a real help throughout the
planning and booking of our holiday in Prague.
I'm sure we will have a great time!
Laura Smith Staffordshire 2007/09
Everything has been great here. The accommodation is excellent, well
equipped, clean and private.
The staff have been exceptional. Overall, everything is and has been
very well organized
and is a credit to you. Thank you,
Peter McHugh Stockport 2008/11
Yes we had a fab time, the house was great, transport excellent and
Dan and Lucy looked
after us very well. We would definitely recommend it!
Apologies for not writing sooner,
I have been away and also was hoping to have some photos to send you
for the web site.
We tried a 'local' drink in the bar opposite, served in test tubes
(very intriguing for us as we
are all scientists, even recognised the test tube rack!). The
only slight disappointment was
that the bar was not doing evening meals, however, the 'motel' up
the road did a great meal
for us one night, and we could have had a meal
cooked in the house if I had looked at my
phone in time to get Lucy's message! Thanks again for
everything,
Cyndy Surrey 2007/03
Yes, we had a lovely time. As for feedback, I can't say
enough nice things about Dan, Lucie,
and Oxanna. They were extremely helpful. Great staff.
The formerly great restaurant across
the lane has been taken by new management and the menu is less
varied. Otherwise, all was
good & we're very happy to recommend the cottages. The small
details like the bulletin boards
and 24 hour bus passes were especially appreciated.
Nora Pyne Nottingham 2007/09
"We were surprised by how much cycling and
walking goes on in the Czech Republic
and how organised it is - it is a beautiful country which we didn't know
that much
about before we left. We were really pleased that we were living in the
country
rather than in Central Prague especially during the heat wave. We found the
buses
amazing - they follow the timetable (a
surprise after England) so central Prague was
really accessible if we wanted to go there. If people do want to do lots of
walking
and cycling we found the equivalent of an OS map in the stationers in the
metro at
Dejvicka (we brought it back with us
as we might visit again) - we found it really
useful to see where the paths went. We also found the outdoor
swimming pool near
the reservoir (terminus of no 20&26 tram routes) - it is however unheated!
We had a great time in Cerny Vul and most of us did cycle at some stage. We
managed to do lots of the routes as walks anyway so were quite happy (both
children walk quite well). Our younger son needed to be a bit older and
bigger and
more used to cycling a lot to make real use of a bike (I think that would be
true for
any child) - whatever you do with younger and smaller children you have to
pace
yourself anyway. The people in the pub
were really helpful - Harry got on well with
Pranter (he considers himself a chef too) so many thanks to everyone there.
Also to
Dan who efficiently picked us up and took us to
airports and train stations - he is a
really good 'ambassador' for the Czech Republic when you first arrive."
Sue Steward Norwich England

"The staff you have there are a credit. The lady on arrival was 1st
class. Dan your
taxi service 1st class. The restaurant was an added bonus.
Cheers and thanks
again"
Margaret Sanderson, Newcastle 2006/09
"We had a wonderful time thank you so much. The weather was so warm
and the people were friendly, particularly once the ice was broken. We had
a few laughs with shop keepers when we struggled to get what we wanted
but they were very kind, particularly the lady at
Unetice who was very
patient and got things for us to choose from. We loved Prague and loved
the castle area, the markets, Jewish quarter and Charles bridge especially.
Transport was good; we managed buses and metro although
fares were a
bit confusing. We found the Cottage was well equipped, comfortable,
peaceful and very clean. we were well looked after from arrival to departure
and Dan and Oxana did very well. The only thing we couldn't find was a
spare tea towel.
We went on one long walk. The countryside was beautiful in spring. We
followed the stream to the main river but couldn't cross as the ferry didn't
run; too early in the season? We found the cycle path went through the
town Roztoky but the footpath followed the stream and was better. We
found the old church and thought it was beautiful.
We hope to go back one day." Sandra, Surrey, England

"In May 2006 I had the good fortune to spend a week in Prague staying at
the
IdyllicPrgue Cottage with Sonia and Bryn Solly. What a treat! The house was
spacious and very comfortable, equipped with everything you could want. We
found the public transport into Prague very easy to navigate and the village
itself
delightful to wander round. Across the road from the house was a local
pub
serving
filling meals at a very reasonable cost. And, when I unfortunately got tooth
ache,
on the pin board in the kitchen I found the name and phone number of a local
dentist
who spoke English. I must thank you for your clear directions, we drove over from
Brussels and had no trouble finding the Cottage, even in the dark. Once
again,
thank you for our holiday in the Cottage. We had a wonderful time.
It was
marvellous to be able to have such a relaxing holiday in such a lovely house
and location." Sally Brink, New Zealand

"I did have a wonderful time discovering Praha; I went
out nearly everyday to
explore some other place or event. It was such an education for me as
well.
There were some places I didn’t get to see, so I hope to return someday."
Emily Hall, Detroit 2006/06
Just a quick note to say thank you for our short break in Prague.
Everyone was so
helpful and helped make our stay so memorable. The cottage was just as
you had
described and more than met our expectations, shame the phone didn't
work
{ IdyllicPrague - malfunction of cordless phone. A wired phone
is also available, and
a second cordless phone has now been added as backup.}, but it
didn't spoil anything for us.
We spent a fun afternoon over at the local pub, eating, drinking,.....
and dancing
with anyone who could stand up! It would have been useful to know that
the pub
didn't serve food in the evenings before we arrived, { IdyllicPrague -
pub restaurant
usually serves evening meals - but cannot be guaranteed. There are
2 other pub
restaurants in Cerny Vul, and the Unitice pub restaurant is nearby.}
but the pizza
delivery service eventually found us. Prague is a beautiful place, full
of friendly people,
stunning buildings and brimming with culture - the ballet was second to
none,
and the Christmas Markets were wonderful.
The ballet we saw was Swan Lake at the beautiful State Opera House,
it felt so special
as we managed to be seated in 2 boxes close to the stage. It wasn't
the usual Hen Party
excursion, but as Kayleigh used to train for ballet from being a
little girl, it was a real
treat for us all. We had a lovely meal just around the corner.
Thanks again to all concerned, especially Lucie and Dan for all their
help with taxis, not forgetting the breakfast which Lucie arranged for us, it was superb!
Happy New Year to you and the team. Many thanks once again,
Christine Owen Lancs 2007/12
A few words to let you know how delighted we were by our stay in your
property
in Prague. All of us, Michelle included (our wheelchair-confined daughter),
found
the house spacious and well-equipped, easy to settle into and comfortable
- I particularly appreciated the firm mattress, after incurring backache
from an
earlier holiday. The barbecue was put to good use, the travel passes were
very
helpful on our first day, and we are very impressed by all we saw in Prague,
and
by the public transport system. As we had our French contingent's car,
and
Michelle's disabled parking permit, she was able to accompany us on various
activities. Many thanks to Lucie for her research into disabled facilities
in the city.
We went on the Jazz Boat on the Vltava, to the 'Aspects of Alice' show at
the
theatre, and I bought DVDs of 'Rusalka' and 'Prodana Nevesta', plus CDs of
'Dalibor', much cheaper that the cost in UK. Must come back for the opera
season!
As you know, there were problems with the security alarms, which were
eventually
sorted out, but that was the only thing that gave us trouble. Many thanks
again
for providing this opportunity, and for being on hand when there was a
problem.
Arnold Saxton, London 2007/08
"The Cottage is great and we like your team there too. My wife says thank you
very much for the flowers, milk, champagne, tea bags to welcome us. Dan met
us at the airport; very friendly and polite, and came punctually to take us back
this afternoon. Lucie was charming and bright - we met her son too, and
very
helpful with minor things. Oxanna was very discrete, we did not see her
until
we left, but the rubbish bin was emptied every day etc.
We had a wonderful holiday, although my eldest daughter cancelled at the
last minute as I think she was in a spin getting her degree show exhibits
up etc but that was our only snag.
If I can think of anything you could improve... that is a hard one, but while it
is fresh in my mind, we were lucky we already had a metro map from someone.
That is useful. I think we wasted quite a bit of time finding the bus stop at
Dejvicka to get back home on the 316/356, as this is not too obvious tucked
back a way from all the other bus stops. So maybe a little drawing of the
Deyjvicka roundabout and metro. {IdyllicPrague, click
here and
here for key map of
Dejvice.} One expects it to be the other side of the road from where
you jump
off. Maybe a bus timetable? (I'm being picky now) {IdyllcPrague click
here for
a bus timetable} We could not read the ones at bus stops. We figured
the
bus arrives at Cerny Vul about 10 past the hour, and leaving the house on the
hour is a good plan. We liked the metro, very clean and fast. You assume most
of your guests will use taxis, but the bus and metro service is really good, so
perhaps a one page guide to getting in and out, {IdyllicPrague click
here for
guide to using bus and metro and key metro stations} and the most likely
metro
stops for the top tourist spots, either side of Charles bridge Malostranská, and
Staromestka. Thank you for the complimentary metro tickets to get us started.
My impression of Prague is that it is quite like Paris, but without the prices,
and
a bit of language difficulty! What a delightful city... such great architecture
and
art. We were amazed how quickly we were out of the airport and dropped at
Cerny Vul, and our Tesco order requested for after 6 pm was punctual and we
had just been home for half an hour. Your favourites list on the Tesco site was
useful. We did have one or two surprises- particularly the bread- but of course
it is Eastern Europe, and the bread is quite hard and chewy. I don't know why I
ordered 12 boxes of eggs- I should have realised that it was boxes and not
single eggs!!!! However I think you should tell all your guests how good the
Tesco delivery thing is. I have never used internet shopping before, and being
without a car, this was really very helpful.
It was a very nice way to visit Prague, and you have a lovely house in a nice
spot, to come back to each evening after lots of walking around. Much nicer
than a hotel, even a luxury hotel can't match coming back to a spacious clean
and tidy house with a garden and your own groceries. And the excellent pub
right next door.
We were blown away by the churches in Prague. I have never seen anything
like St Vitus cathedral, or the baroque splendour of St Nicholas in the lesser
quarter. We were treated to impromptu violin concert in the other St Nicholas,
in the old town square, and much street music around the Charles bridge. We
walked about and saw a lot. Took the tram to the castle. It is a magic place.
We are really very grateful that we were given a couple of your Cottage
publicity flyers. We were delighted to spend our holiday in the Cottage, we felt
quite at home there. One more suggestion, while I think of it- you need a drying
up rack in your kitchen. {IdyllicPrague - a drying up rack will be
added!} If we
find some really good photos we will mail them to you. Best wishes, and
please
thank everyone of your team who were so kind and efficient".

We are now in situ in your delightful cottage. Everything as described.
We were very happy with our week at Conifer Cottage. There is, as promised,
a lot of space and a beautifully tended garden with good corners for the
little
children. Unfortunately, only I and my little daughter, who slept through
most
of it, got to cycle towards Okor which I enjoyed more than down to the
river.
I think I cycled 6km or so to Tuhomerice and found the countryside and
villages
appealing. There are also branches off Cycle Track 8100. As many have
mentioned
before, Dan and Lucie and Franta are excellent, portray a professional image
and
are very good at getting you settled in. No complaints! And the
Rent-a-Chef meal
got 10/10! Their timekeeping is impeccable also. In fact I had to tell
Dan to wait
because we weren't ready! Thank You once again for all your attention
to detail
and help up to and including our stay David
Rodway Hertfordshire 2007/08
I thought the cottage was lovely and well equipped and we really enjoyed the
pub
too. The only thing I would like to mention is that the bus times on
the website
don't match the actual ones so I assume the bus company must have changed
its
timetable. {IdyllicPrague - bus timetable updated!} I
don't have any photos as yet
but I know some of the others do so I will forward this email on to everyone
in our
group so they can respond individually to you. Many Thanks"

"Just a quick note to say that we had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed
our stay at your lovely property in Cerny Vul. If you remember the menu
changed at the Ve Mlejne from the one I had downloaded from your
website. It was no problem as the next day there was a knock at the
door and we were handed the new menu in ENGLISH in a Grambrinus
folder, this we left on the kitchen table for future guests.
Jan (if I have the name correct) who drove us to the airport said you
had asked that I send some pictures, I'll do that though it will be
sometime next week. I'm planning to upload some then, which could
be linked to from your site.
There was only one small problem, which in no way spoiled our holiday,
was that the internet connection fell over on the Friday night and
whenever I tried to reconnect an error message would appear saying
that the Host Computer (i.e. the internet provider) was not responding.
(IdyllicPrague note - ADSL added to
provide "Resilient Broadband
Connection!)
The lady who came and cleaned was excellent and very
unobtrusive and
did more than we had expected for a self catering holiday.
It was a great holiday................. Thanks again"

"Thank you to you for the holiday, we had a really lovely time. Your house
is a pleasure to stay in, and we thought Prague was a beautiful city. We
spent 3 days wandering round the city and the 4th day we had a long walk
along by the river. We planned to follow your walk to the zoo but the rope
ferry was not operating, we assumed because the river was very high.
However we walked to the old Church and back along the river and had
a very pleasant time. We were very lucky with the weather which was
sunny and warm, even hot towards the end of the week."

"The house was everything it claimed to be and
comfortable and we were very
pleased with it. The cleaning lady came more often than we expected saving
us a lot of chores.
We would certainly recommend the cottage to anyone wanting to spend an
extended holiday near Prague. The broadband was very useful especially for
listening to radio4 for news and booking our hotels on the return trip. I
had to
reboot the router once when it stopped doing dns lookups. {IdyllicPrague
-
independent broadband systems are
supplied in each Cottage, so if there is a problem
with one, the other should still work. Usually, as was the case here,
powering off
and powering back on will fix a problem. If not, phone for help
and the
IdyllicPrague team will soon fix it!}
We had a rather mixed holiday but it was no fault of yours or the cottage.
For
example while in England we got a puncture on the A14 before we even got to
Harwich, in Germany a lost hotel reservation in Meissen and a severe dent in
the car in Telc (when stationary). In Cerny Vul a rather glum blackboard
notice
outside the pub announced that the kitchen was not serving food. This
meant
that we used the pub much less than expected and usually when it was
otherwise
empty of customers. We had problems with mosquitoes but we are both
unusually
sensitive to insect bites and not always sufficiently disciplined in the use
of
insecticide. There were misunderstandings regarding our arrival and
departure
times.
We purchased our 15 day Prague zone metro/bus/tram travel tickets and
generally
drove to the Dejvice car park were we parked and took the metro. We always
got
into the car park after short waits for someone to leave on one or two
occasions.
The man leaves at 8pm {IdyllicPrague - If you leave the car park after
the attendant
has finished for the day you do not have to pay anything for parking.}
The queuing
for metro/tram tickets was a pain. The first time we tried we joined
the queue at
Dejvice at 10:30 and just failed to reach the window by the 11am lunch
hour.
We then scrambled enough change to get to town and succeeded after a further
half hour queue at Mustek in the afternoon. I wish they would get some note
acceptor ticket machines. Are they waiting to join the euro? We used
the 240 to
get to Dejvicka rather than the 241 but it does leave you the big island to
circumnavigate and two tramway crossings. We used the supermarket at Dejvice
quite a lot and the Tesco at Kralupy which even used our chip and pin cards.
We would recommend the Prague tram museum, the Zamek at Nelahozeves;
Melnick, Litomerice, the open air museum at Prerov Nad Labem and Konopiste
as outings and Telc which is delightful if time permits but is nearly in
Austria.
It might be worth noting that the Prague Muzeum MHD is closed for renovation
until 2008. Its a long walk from the tram to find out.
The Estates theatre is surely one of the prettiest opera houses in the
world. We
saw a minimalist Magic Flute but well sung. We also saw a massive in every
way
Turandot at the Statni Opera and got lost trying to cross Wilsonova. Both
sets of
tickets were excellent from the agency which sent them to our home in
advance.
(CzechOpera.cz - TicketsOnLine.cz )
We took a lot of photos. I’ll look more carefully at them over the
weekend and
put the best ones on my web site so that you can lift any or none of them at
your
leisure.
The house was everything it claimed to be and comfortable and we were very
pleased with it. The cleaning lady came more often than we expected saving
us
a lot of chores. We would certainly recommend the Cottage to anyone wanting
to spend an extended holiday near Prague."

"I do think Prague
is a lovely city, and has lots to interest the visitor.
It is surrounded
by beautiful countryside, the people are friendly and
I have always felt safe
while there. The house is lovely - spacious,
light and airy and
comfortable, and access to the city is quick easy,
and inexpensive." Linda

"Super for all the family! There is so much to see in
Prague. I would
recommend it to anyone." Valerie May, Surrey, England
"Prague
is a cultural, beautiful city and is only a bus ride away.
And of course, out
in the countryside of Cerny Vul, there’s the
alternatives you don’t usually
combine with a historical city,
long cycle rides and swimming in the local lake!
The atmosphere
is friendly, and the pub just opposite serves a large variety of
dishes,
all very nice." Sarah May, Surrey, England
2005 "Prague is an amazing city - so unspoilt and atmospheric. The
transport
and food is so cheap, and the house facilities and location are ideal
- in
the country but easy and quick access to the city. We must come
again."
John Moseley, Gloucestershire, England 2005
"One of the most beautiful cities visited. A variety of old
attractive
buildings. Wonderful views by the river of both sides of the
city.
Easy reach of magnificent lake, forest and river scenery - great to
explore by bike. Easy reach of the Airport. Transport is fine and
most reasonable, also great tram rides. Eating out excellent and
good
variety. Fascinating cathedral and castle area. Would definitely
like to go again." Meg Moseley, Gloucestershire, England
2005
"The Cottage was peaceful and relaxing to return to after a day exploring the
lovely
city of Prague. Its location gave us the opportunity to see local villages and
meet
local people, and was an excellent base for long walks in the beautiful
countryside.
After we had been there a short while, it felt like 'home'."
Judy Roxburgh,
Sussex 2006/04 "Prague is a
fascinating city, a living museum beautifully preserved
with something of interest in every direction. Art nouveau decorations
are everywhere on even the humblest buildings, and the Czechs
clearly take pride in their heritage. Getting around on public transport
is easy and cheap - about Ł1 a day for unlimited travel...but be
prepared for lots of walking, it's the only way to see the best places....
and take some comfy shoes!" Martyn Grandy, Manchester, England
2005
We really enjoyed our stay at your lovely house. Children had a wonderful
time.
The food in the restaurant in front of the house was excellent, especially
the fish.
If you could provide a vacuum cleaner it would help in keeping the carpeted
area
clean all the time. Similarly we could not locate a proper mop.
{IdyllicPrague These
should always be available. If you cannot find them, please
ask!}
We would like to come back some time in future and recommend the place to
all our friends.
We did find lot of usefull tourist information material in the living room
which was a great help.
Once again thanks for letting us use your house. Amjad

"Dan was waiting at the airport for us with a board saying
Welcome to Ms
Roxburgh.
We saw him as soon as we came through into arrivals. He was very friendly and
immediately made me feel at ease and welcome. His English is excellent and he
explained where the Cottage was and chatted about local things, transport etc
on the way to the Cottage. When we got to the Cottage he introduced us to
Oxana (the cleaner), showed us round the cottage and again advised us on taxis
etc.
He acted as translator for Oxana who didn't appear to have any English. He rang
on
the Friday evening to confirm pick up on Saturday morning, which was
reassuring and
was very punctual and again friendly and helpful. It was a great help to us
arriving
in a strange country where we speak none of the language. He left us his phone
number in case we needed further transport or help which again was very
reassuring
as we felt that we had someone we could ring who spoke English if we needed
advice. Dan also showed us how where the computer was and opened it up to
the www.IdyllicPrague.com website
before he left.
Oxana too was very friendly and efficient, we obviously couldn't talk much to
her but
she showed us where everything was in the cottage, she came in daily and emptied
the bins etc. She changed our bed linen and towels half way through the week
and
cleaned the bathrooms, sink etc. Also through Dan she told us about the meals at
the local pub, which he had also mentioned.
Work in the road laying a new water pipe made the approach to the Cottage look
a bit bleak just at first. First impression of the Cottage was very nice when we
went
into the garden and inside the house. I think my first thoughts were how big it
was, also that it was very modern and seemed very clean and quite bare. Its a
lovely house, it perhaps felt a bit lonely and remote the first couple of
nights,
although I live in a very quiet place myself. It was definitely a peaceful
haven to
return to after a day in Prague, we enjoyed coming back and having a couple of
quiet hours before we went for dinner. I enjoyed being able to play the piano
in
the Cottage - although my colleagues might not agree! It was hot enough to
enjoy
sitting out on the patio. It was a bit intimidating knowing none of the
language
but having Dan to meet us made this a lot less worrying.
We enjoyed walking up to the shop, apart from the work laying the water pipe it
was very peaceful. The people in the shop spoke no English but were very eager
to
help us.
Having the pub across the road is a big bonus, the food was
cheap and very good
with enormous portions. The English menu was also very helpful, although we
still
struggled a bit - we never did find out what "chicken pockets" were! The staff
in the
pub were again kind and eager to help us.
Dan told us about taxis to and from the city, he gave us the number you
recommended with an English speaking person. He also said he would take us
but that it would be a bit dearer, I think because of the distance. However we
found the local bus which took us to the metro and this was much cheaper than
the taxi would have been. Also we enjoyed stopping at the local villages and
watching people get on and off. I think it might be useful to have more info on
catching the buses, numbers, times, costs etc in the cottage, its fun and saved
a
lot of money. (IdyllicPrague note - extra bus information added -
I didn't realise you had a website until shortly before we left when I went
onto it
briefly but having seen it is very useful. I printed off the walk which was
very
helpful so might be useful to have some printed copies of the walk in the house
for people to take with them.
Again many thanks," Judy Roxburgh, Sussex2006/04
You've obviously gone to a lot of trouble to make your holiday homes
wheelchair
accessible - and its great that there are so many details and photos so that
people
can see for themselves if the facilities are suitable for them, since, as
you no doubt
realise, every case is different. We greatly appreciated the sturdy ramp at
the
entrance to Conifer cottage and the fact that everything was on the same
level for her.
So the changes you've made to Cherry Garden suite look great.
I think the most useful thing for prospective holidaymakers is that the
photos are so clear.
It's great that so much is being done for handicapped people now.
Just another thing I've thought of which has nothing to do with the houses,
but with handicapped parking in town - we found out that the designated
handicapped
parking spaces in the City are often set aside for a particular car with the
number plate
marked under the blue P sign - so we obviously hesitated to park there.
They don't
make that clear in the otherwise excellent guidebook provided by Lucie, so
it may be
worth pointing out to people so that they don't get a fine!
Thanks again for enabling us all to have a lovely holiday in Prague. I'm
currently
compiling a souvenir album of holiday photos for my parents' 50th wedding
anniversary.
All the best,Claire Mazure, France 2007/07
We did indeed have a great holiday - all too short, but the calendar is not
within any of
our control! I would have loved to have had more time to review your back issues
of New
Scientist - about a week maybe.
The house was really excellent - exactly as we expected from your website. There
were
only a couple of minor things that could make it better :-
o Hot water. We seemed to have emptied the tank of hot water on our last
morning, when
several of us had showers or baths. There may have been a switch we missed to
select a
manual top up of heat, but we had no hot water for washing up at lunchtime -
easily
overcome with the kettle.

o Outdoor furniture. Looked like it had spent the winter sheltering indoors, and
needed
a quick wipe down before we could use it.

These were completely overshadowed by the positives - and in particular Dan, who
met
and transported us impeccably. He is a big asset to Idyllic / London Prague.
An observation that might be helpful for visitors planning to use the bus. We
had a little
trouble finding the bus stop in Prague for the return to Cerny Vul. Perhaps you
could note
(either in the house or on the website) that the bus stop is down the hill from
the Dejvicka
metro station, on the roundabout itself - separate from the other bus stops.

Also we had a little difficulty buying the 150kr tickets that were valid out as
far as Cerny Vul -
the Dejvicka kiosk and ticket office were only offering the 100kr tickets valid
in Prague itself.
A guide to where they can be bought might be useful. (Actually, the 20kr one way
ticket that
you can buy on the bus itself is good value - especially by UK standards.)

All said, a very good break, and an excellent venue for it.
Very best regards, and good fortune for future business. Simon

Hi, we had a great holiday. All I can say is that everything was
fine and the contact person
was very pleasant. Kind regards

We have found our stay in Prague very interesting and will
definitely come back again sometime
in the future. The Garden Suite has been very suitable and adequate
for the 2 of us.
It has made our stay enjoyable and relaxing ( except the walk back
up the hill when returning
from off the bus ). Hopefully we may well call on your services
again in the future.
Many Thanks for your services and shall speak with you again soon
regarding the booking for
our friends in September. All the best &
kind regards Paul Burt Milton Keynes 2009/03

Just to say thank you ever so much for the stay at your house- .
Thanks also for arranging us
to be met at the airport. We enjoyed it very much and the
location was perfect- and if you
know of a plot it that location my husband would love to build a
house there!
thanks again

Thank you very much indeed for your
help with the arrangements for our Prague visit.
Dan looked after us well in picking us up and returning us
to the airport (two different
terminals as you mentioned!) and the car (a Skoda Octavia
estate) was perfect for our
needs, a very good price and delivered and collected which
made a huge difference.
We very much enjoyed Prague and visited some old haunts
although the strength of the
Czech Kr seemed to make things rather more expensive than I
remembered! The Lubkowicz
Palace had reopened since we were last there and that was a
really special visit, highly
recommended. We also went to a concert there. We
particularly appreciated Cesky
Krumlov where we stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the drive down
stopping at Konapiste
and Tabor on the way down and Hluboka and Pisec on the way
back. Also did a trip
around the south and met a family at Holosovice who invited
us back to their cottage
for mushroom soup and bilberry cake (all with freshly picked
produce from the woods!).

Just back, it was amazing as hoped! We had two beautifully
sunny days, glorious, and ended
up on the New Year's Eve jazz cruise, and it was great too,
a very high quality jazz quartet,
muted trumped, guitar, bass and drums, very good playing,
suitably smooth, nice food and
just amazing views and the fireworks form the best position,
it was like a dream.
It has to be the most amazing city in the world!
Superlatives only as you can see....
Parents enjoyed Fledermaus, but the Don Giovanni we saw at
the Estates was naff and
not very well sung, but being in that theatre alone made up
for it, another wow-experience.
{IdyllicPrague.com recommend Narodni Divadlo and Statni
Opera, rather than the Estates Theatre.}
Not that much has changed in 15 years, more familiar shops
and glamorous restaurants,
but still the same lovely atmosphere. Great stuff.
Happy new Year! Stefan 2008/12

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful house. We had a
fantastic Christmas together
and the facilities in the house were great. The only thing we found we were
short of were tea towels.
Again, thank you,
Cheers
