Cherry Tree Cottage has a
family bathroom on the upper
floor and 2
wheelchair access toilet shower
rooms on the ground floor.
There are 4
double bedrooms
and in addition,
2
living rooms which
can be used as double bedrooms
making a total of
6 double bedrooms. There
are also
2 fully
equipped kitchen dining rooms.
The entire ground floor has been designed and rebuilt for wheelchair access.
It is also possible to rent an independent self
contained part of Cherry Tree Cottage called "Cherry Garden Suite".
This ground floor suite consists of a double bedroom, kitchen dining room and
toilet shower room, all designed and rebuilt for wheelchair access.
On the ground
floor the bright, double aspect main kitchen
is fully equipped with sink drainer,
dishwasher,
refrigerator, worktop,
cupboards, electric oven, gas hobs,
microwave, electric kettle, coffee
maker, toaster,
crockery, cutlery
and cooking utensils for 10
guests. Everything is readily accessible at
standard worktop height
900mm above the floor with the exception
of one wall mounted cupboard
containing crockery. The contents
of this wall mounted cupboard can be
moved to a floor level cupboard prior
to Guest arrival, on request.
The dining area is open plan to the main kitchen and extends into a garden bay. A large dining table and ten stackable dining chairs are provided.
Double glass doors
connect the dining
area to the front
room which
includes a
double
sofa bed and an
extra large double
sofa bed, a
television with
satellite
and DVD, a
fixed line phone and
cordless telephone
and an ADSL WiFi
broadband
internet
connection. Two
patio doors lead out
to the garden.
Another pair of double glass doors connect the
entrance hall to the orchard room
which includes 2 extra large double sofa beds
and a book case with an assortment of books. Double patio doors lead to
the garden and barbeque and provide a delightful view of
the orchard.
Full length curtains over the double glass doors provide privacy when the
orchard room is used as a bedroom
The 3 double bedrooms on the upper
floor
are the family bedroom
the master bedroom,
and the balcony bedroom.
The family bedroom and the
master bedroom
can accommodate 4 single beds or 2 double beds,
the balcony bedroom can
accommodate
3 single beds or a double bed and a single bed.
The family bathroom is on the upper floor and includes a basin, washing machine, bath with shower, bidet and toilet.
A second washing machine is
available in the ground floor toilet shower room which has been rebuilt for
wheelchair access.
An additional toilet on the ground floor will
be converted to a wheelchair
accessible toilet
shower room early in 2008.
The ground
floor second kitchen dining room is fully equipped with sink drainer, refrigerator,
worktop, cupboards,
electric hobs, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, crockery,
cutlery and cooking utensils for 4 guests.
Everything is readily accessible at standard worktop height 900mm above the
floor.
Connecting to the
second kitchen dining room is the
double aspect ground floor garden bedroom with a DVD television,
a double sofa bed an extra large double sofa bed, a clothes hanging rail and a
chest of drawers.
Outside is a spacious level garden with barbeque,
remotely controlled electrically
opening gate and twin garages with
remotely controlled electrically
opening doors. A level paved path runs around the outside of the
house, and a 6m by 8m
level paved area in front of the front doors is very convenient for
picking-up and setting down from cars, minibuses and taxis.

Other similar holiday cottage accommodation is available nearby. For the
comfort of other Guests smoking and
pets are not permitted.
A Rent-a-Chef service is available. Occasional day care or bathing care by
a qualified Carer may be booked in advance for an extra charge.
